Mummy,
From the very first day I was introduced to you as your future daughter-in-law, you accepted me and embraced me as one of your own.
You became my second mother, my friend, and my confidant. There was nothing we could not talk about. We shared our burdens, our joys, and many precious moments together. Oh, how we prayed about everything! We truly made a wonderful prayer team.
It still feels like a dream that I will eventually wake up from. Whenever I see people celebrating their mothers' 70th birthdays and beyond, my heart tightens. I feel heartbroken, not because I am unhappy for them. On the contrary, I am genuinely delighted for them. My heart aches because I still struggle to understand how such a vibrant, beautiful soul could leave us so soon.
My sweet Mummy, you were full of life, love, and compassion. In fact, you were compassion personified. You made it a point to support certain people financially every month, not because you had so much, but because you consistently placed the needs of others above your own. You were selfless, kind, generous, and accommodating.
I could go on and on, but words fail me.
Nnem Oma, Ezigbo Enyim, you were truly one of a kind, and you will forever remain irreplaceable. You will always have a special place in my heart.
Till we meet again on the resurrection morning.
