ADIEU, AUNTY IDU Am still in shock! hearing of your passing; You were more than a sister-Inlaw to me, but rather a spiritual mom, loving, unbiased, constructive, considerate, motivational; Your encouragement were unparalleled through difficult moments in my marriage; always honest and fearless with love saying your mind on any issue of importance in my marriage. I greatly admired your love for God and His Kingdom. One memory I will never forget was during the labour of my first son. God made sure my spiritual mother was there with me. You came into the labour room to check on me, and I told you I was tired and had no strength left in me. You said, “Give me a minute”. Shortly after, you returned with a powerful scripture. You read it aloud, and suddenly strength surged through me from nowhere. I burst into tongues, and miraculously, my son was born instantly. From that moment, you remained my spiritual mother. The weekend before your passing, I felt led to call you, but I kept postponing it until I received the heartbreaking news that you were gone. It is still unbearable. Throughout our relationship, you would always say, “I want to make heaven, so I cannot do this or that”. Because of the life you lived and your devotion to Christ, I know for certain that you are resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
