There are people who enter your life and become so woven into the fabric of your existence that you cannot imagine the world without them. My grandmother was that person for me. She was more than a grandmother. She was a shelter, a soft place to land, a steady hand in the middle of every storm. When we lost my father, it was her arms that held us together. It was her voice, her prayers, her quiet but unshakeable strength that reminded us that we would be okay. She did not just love us — she carried us. If someone told me that the last time I get to see you was a day before my resumption, I wouldn't have believed. I would have laughed it off, convinced that you would be right there when I returned the way you always were. That is the thing about people like you, Grandma. You feel permanent. You feel like forever. And in so many ways, you are. I think about your laugh. I think about the way you said my name. I think about everything you poured into me without even knowing it — the resilience, the faith, the grace. You lived a life so full of love that everyone who knew you walked away richer for it. You did not just exist in our lives, you made our lives. And though my heart is heavy with grief, it is also full, full of every memory, every lesson, every moment I was lucky enough to share with you. Rest well, Grandma. We will carry you with us, always.🥰 Joyful Agorua Granddaughter
